Hard Drives
Evaluation & Diagnosis –
Your drive will be evaluated by a recovery engineer in our clean air environment. Based on your type of failure and symptoms your drive is experiencing we will present our recommended recovery plan.
File Copy –
Often data recovery is not required. This charge is for a transfer of data from one device to another.
Logical Failure –
If your media can still be fully recognized and their is no physical damage then your recovery would fall under logical recovery. Failures such as:
- Deleted Files
- Corrupt Files
- Formatted Media
- Missing Files
- Small amount of bad sectors
Internal Failure –
Media that fails to operate using regular methods but is physically okay. This is the most common type of failure we see and can include damage such as:
- Electrical Damage
- Minor Firmware Damage
- PCB Board Failure
- Lots of bad sectors
- Drives making sounds*
- drop/liquid/fire damage*
* Drives that are making sounds or have suffered any type of environmental damage (drops, impacts, liquid, fire, extreme heat or cold) could very well be suffering from physical damage. It is NEVER recommended to run a hard drive that has physical damage as it can cause further damage even rendering the case unrecoverable.
Internal Failure –
Hard drives that have suffered physical damage will require replacement parts and must be worked on in our clean air environment. Particles such as dust and hair run a high risk of permanent damage to the media.
- Drops/liquid/fire damage
- Damaged heads
- Dead Motor
- Serious Firmware Damage

Emergency Service
We will move your job to the front of our recovery queue and work around the clock to get your data back.
Unsealed HDD
If your Hard Drive has been previously opened or worked on then this fee will apply.
1TB External Drive
A 1TB external drive to store your recovered data on. You can also supply your own.
2TB External Drive
A 2TB external drive to store your recovered data on. You can also supply your own.

USB/Flash/Thumb Drives
Evaluation & Diagnosis –
Your USB device will be disassembled from its casing and evaluated for any visual signs of failure. We can determine what kind of form factor (chip or monolith) and the best path of recovery.
File Copy –
Often data recovery is not required. This charge is for a transfer of data from one device to another.
Logical/Minor Physical Recoveries –
If your USB device is still operational but the data has either gone missing or become corrupt your recovery would be logical.
- Deleted Files
- Corrupt Files
- Formatted Media
- Missing Files
Chip Off Recovery –
If your USB device has NAND chips we can carefully remove them from the PCB and attempt to directly extract the data.
- BGA152
- TSOP48
- EMMC
Monolithic Recovery –
If your USB device does not contain BGA chips this means your device in monolithic. We will use special methods to remove the coating that covers the circuit and then solder to specific points on that circuit to attempt a recovery of the data.
- These recoveries are dependant on if we have or are able to develop the required pinout for your device.
SD/mSD/MMC/CF
Evaluation & Diagnosis –
Your SD card will be disassembled from its casing and evaluated for any visual signs of failure. We can determine what kind of form factor (chip or monolith) and the best path of recovery.

Evaluation & Diagnosis –
Your RAID array will be evaluated by a recovery engineer. Based on your type of failure and symptoms your array is showing we will present our recommended recovery plan.

Phone/Tablet
Evaluation / Diagnosis –
A recovery technican will talk to you about how data was originally lost, any symptoms you may be expeirencing with your storage medium. We will then perform necessary inspections and scans to form the best plan for data recovery.
Logical Data Recovery –
Logical Data recovery can be performed when the devices is either fully or partially operational. Touch and screen function will be required, we can then scan your phone using enterprise level software that will search for missing and deleted files. You are able to view the results and decide if the data found is of value. All of our recovery options are no Data-No Fee.
Minor Phiyiscal Recovery –
Minor Physical recovery coves all tyoes of physical damage causing data loss. This includes water damage, fire damage, drops/falls, screen failure battery failure or any odd behavious your device may be exhibiting. A recovery technican will attempt repair of your device to a point where data can be extracted. this often times results in a repaired device where you can receive both a working phone/tablet and data. Please note that a working device is never garunteed.
* We stock most apple parts/screens however if your device is not an apple product or we do not stock your models parts then an extra charge fo parts will apply. This will be disclosed prior to performing any work.
Major Phiyiscal Recovery –
Major Physical Recovery is when the "motherboard" of your device fails. All motherboadrs are composed of hundreds and sometimes thousands of electrical components that can fail. Some of these componenets are propiertary to the manufacture and can not be replaced without data loss.We can diagnose what components have failed and attempt to repair the device to a state that will let us recover data . Often times a woking phone is also provided but this is never garunteed.
